Our first week of start started off very smoothly as students get into routines. It has been hot but the students have done a great job of working hard and not letting it bother them too much. We start this year out with several exciting bits of news. First our enrollment has gone up to 280 students, which is the highest in at least the last 15 years. Second we will be starting our afterschool extracurricular activities next week. Please see the enclosed announcements for these activities. We want all students to take advantage of these classes as it is very import for our students to participate in outside activities to build confidence and find new skills. Another new item is our lunch program, we are now using Royal Dinning, which cooks the food locally and brings the food to school. We have experienced a little problem with the numbers of meals but the students like the variety and taste.

Very important items: Our first PTO Meeting will be held Thursday August 16 at 8 am in the teacher’s lounge. All parents are invited to attend.

Parish priests have canceled our Family Retreat due prior commitments. We rescheduled the Family Retreat for September 16

All emergency information, lunch applications, and any other paperwork is due.

Any family that hasn’t received St Michael Fiesta Raffle tickets, please see Ms. Rosa. All families are obligated to sell $50 worth of tickets.
