Bishop Turley - Celebrating over 40 Years in Peru.
On behalf of Bishop Turley we wanted to thank those of you who joined us this past Sunday. It was Father’s Day no less, so we appreciate all that were able to attend!
As many of you know, Bishop Daniel Turley has dedicated his life to serving the wonderful people of Chulucanas in northern Peru for over forty years. We hope you were moved & inspired by his great love for his people and of theirs for him. This is why we want to support him in all that he is doing to bring the love of Jesus to the poorest of the poor in his diocese.
Many of you have asked how you can get involved or contribute to the cause of the Chulucanas of Peru. Below will give you an idea of how your support will help:
- 1 year to fund the orphanage = $4,500
- 1 priest / month = $130
- 1 priest / year = $1560
- 1 student university tuition = $800
- 1 child in the orphanage / month = $125
- 1 elderly person / month = $125
- 1 seminarian / year = $3,000
- 1 student living & eating with sisters in the convent / month = $125
