National Catholic Schools Week is the annual celebration of Catholic education in the United States. It starts the last Sunday in January and runs all week, which in 2014 is January 26 to February 1. St. Michael’s will kick off Catholic Schools Week with Mass and Open House on Sunday, followed by other activities for students, families, and community members. Through these events, St. Michael’s School will focus on the value Catholic education provides to young people and its contributions to our church, our communities and our nation. This year’s theme for Catholic Schools Week is Catholic Schools: Communities of Faith, Knowledge, and Service.
